Matt Palmer serves as Owner and President of Palmer’s Security Solutions, leading the company’s strategic vision, operational execution, and continued growth in the door, frame, and hardware industry. With more than a decade of experience in SCIF construction and high-performance door systems, Matt brings deep technical expertise in secure doors, frames, hardware, and RF/STC-rated assemblies. As a recognized subject matter expert, Matt has built his career in the field; overseeing complex installations, solving performance challenges, and ensuring compliance with stringent government and commercial security standards. His hands-on background as a certified door installer, along with specialized certifications in vault doors, sound-rated solutions, and RF-shielded door systems, gives him a practical, real-world perspective that informs every project the company undertakes. As President, Matt directs both office operations and field teams of 40+ professionals, emphasizing quality, accountability, and technical excellence. Under Matt's leadership, Palmer’s Security Solutions continues to advance its reputation for precision installation, high-performance outcomes, and trusted partnerships within the secure construction space.

Charles Rodriguez

Charles Rodriguez is a motivated and results-driven IT Engineer/Administrator professional with a passion for all that is IT. With a strong background in network engineering and systems administration, Charles thrives with complex challenges and constantly seeks opportunities to learn and grow both personally and professionally. As a lifelong learner, Charles is committed to staying at the forefront of emerging trends and technologies in IT. Beyond Charles' technical skills, he prides himself on being a collaborative and empathetic team player. Charles believe that fostering a positive work culture and maintaining strong relationships with colleagues and clients are key to achieving outstanding results.

Brett Wainner

Brett is a seasoned marketing and design professional with over a decade of experience across a diverse spectrum of marketing departments, encompassing commercial companies and government contractors. Brett’s journey has seen him immersed in many projects, spanning both freelance and corporate landscapes. Brett is the Marketing Specialist at Palmer's Security Solutions, where he is responsible for spearheading comprehensive marketing strategies and initiatives, including media management, the creation of marketing collateral, and leading industry events.

Lauren Hussion

Lauren joined PSS in 2019 as a warehouse technician. She has since joined the Project Management Team as a Project Manager. She brings multiple years of experience in customer relations and project management. Lauren provides the necessary support to our management team to ensure we provide the best customer service to our clients.

Michael Davis

Michael, a JMU Alumni, brings a fresh, energetic, knowledge of logistics to the PSS team. His experience with project planning and management makes him a wonderful fit for our company. His ability to establish great client relations and excellent communication skills, make for a great future, not only for PSS, but also our clients.

Jessica Frye

With over 8 years at PSS, Jessica has transformed the warehouse into a strategic hub that drives productivity. As Warehouse Manager, she developed and implemented a streamlined game plan that improved coordination, optimized ordering processes, and enabled the launch of Palmer’s STC/RF Quick Ship Program. Overseeing receiving, logistics, and field team coordination, Jessica ensures projects stay on track and clients get what they need—making her an integral part of PSS’ ongoing success.

Teri Shenk

Teri serves as the Office Manager at Palmer’s Security Solutions, bringing over 18 years of experience in office management to the role. With a strong background in customer service and database management, she plays an essential part in ensuring daily operations run efficiently and effectively.

Teri is responsible for managing invoices, maintaining accurate and organized records, overseeing supplies and vendors, and handling a wide range of administrative functions that support the company’s overall performance. Teri’s attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to excellence help create a well-structured and productive work environment.

Ethan Szempruch

As a PM at PSS, Ethan utilizes his expertise in product design and project management to deliver innovative security solutions. With over eight years of experience in various industries, Ethan has a strong background in project planning, coordination, and execution, along with a keen eye for quality and customer satisfaction. He is dedicated to creating secure and reliable products that meet customer needs and expectations. Passionate about learning new technologies and trends in the security field, Ethan continually seeks opportunities to enhance his skills. He values collaboration, innovation, and excellence, striving to bring these principles to every project at Palmer's Security Solutions.

Chad Guy

With over a decade of hands-on experience in construction and specialty door solutions, Chad has consistently demonstrated his ability to manage complex integrations, collaborate with multiple trades and ensure installation excellence from start to finish. Before joining PSS, Chad served as Project Manager Div 10 at DFH Commercial Inc., where he led contracts ranging from commercial renovations to critical infrastructure builds. His expertise spans specification review, RF/Acoustic mitigation, field coordination, scheduling and quality assurance—enabling him to bridge the gap between product manufacturers, installers and end-users.

Jeff Simeone

Jeff brings extensive experience to PSS as a Project Engineer with a strong background in the building materials industry. Known for delivering projects on time and within budget, he excels in estimating, cost management, attention to details, and client coordination. With a foundation in business, management, and marketing from the College of San Mateo, Jeff combines hands-on industry knowledge with strategic oversight to support secure, code-compliant door, frame, and hardware installations across a wide range of project types.

Kelly Shaffer

Kelly brings a strong background in project management, branch administration, and operations support to Palmer’s Security Solutions. With experience managing multi-million-dollar projects, coordinating client accounts, overseeing scheduling and logistics, and supporting day-to-day office and field operations, Kelly brings a well-rounded skill set that helps keep projects organized and moving efficiently. Prior to joining PSS, Kelly held roles in both project management and branch administration, where she was responsible for budgeting, job cost tracking, scheduling, subcontractor and material coordination, accounts receivable and payable, payroll support, and onboarding. Known for her hardworking attitude, attention to detail, and commitment to team success, Kelly helps support the high level of quality, responsiveness, and collaboration that PSS brings to every project.
